True Strength Comes from Togetherness
When I hear phrases like “The solution to weakness is power,” I always stop and think about what that really means. Because, what is weakness? What is power? And who decides?
Some might say poverty is weakness. But does that mean those who aren’t poor should control those who are? That kind of thinking only divides us. It creates a world where the strong feel entitled to rule over the weak. But I believe real power isn’t about control or dominance. It’s about coming together. I was once told, that was a naive way of thinking and I beg to differ.
To me, true strength is in compassion. It’s in helping each other. If one person climbs to the top and leaves everyone else behind, that’s not strength—that’s selfishness. Imagine how much stronger we’d all be if we worked together.
When I look around, I see that poverty, inequality, and other struggles aren’t just individual problems—they’re community problems. Maybe that’s why I started my non-profit ITAVFoundation because it does take a village. A community. Because, these issues can’t be solved by pushing people down. They’re solved by lifting people up.
The real solution to weakness isn’t power over others. It’s power with others. Power to listen, to care, and to act. When we join hands, we can create change that lasts. At least that’s my take on things.
Let’s not forget: strength isn’t about standing alone. It’s about standing together.
