One of the most important things I’ve learned about loving yourself is… self care.  Have you ever heard the phrase “you are what you eat”?  Love yourself enough to care about your health. Life may be short but that doesn’t mean we should help shorten it.  Trust me, I understand, I LOVE FOOD TOO!  But self care is also important.  I’m not saying you should wake up every morning and go for a 4 mile run but take at least 10-20 mins out of your day to exercise. Whether it’s before work or after work.  I  sure we all know how important it is to be healthy but here are my personal reasons why you should exercise:  Exercise help reduce depression   Boosts oxygen to the skin, it also helps increase the natural production of collagen Reduces stress Weight loss Improves your mental health and mood When you feel good, you…

Stop living in the past.  It will cripple you.  Of course it’s natural for us to question ourselves and the decisions we’ve made in our lives but should’ve, could’ve, would’ve isn’t going to fix the past or the choices we made. Even though we’ve been to Florida before we never actually ventured further and I’m so glad we did.  Key West reminded me so much of Jamaica, the beautiful palm trees, the roosters waking you up, the weather, that brought back so many memories of home. We stayed at the Margaritaville Resort which was newly renovated, the location was perfect because we didn’t need a car to get around. Everything was within walking distance.   Breakfast was the BEST!  I love seafood. My absolute weakness.  We ate at Two Friends Patio Restaurant which I highly recommend if you’re ever in Key West. The food there is superb. I had the lobster and shrimp omelette with fries (I love…
