Thank you for reading. This has been something I wanted to do for a long time, but as I said before the path to self discovery and self love wasn’t an easy one. Before I could share with you all, I had to learn to accept who I was first. So thank you for letting me share with you.

When was the last time you did something exhilarating? And I don’t mean trying drugs for the first time or robbing a bank (lol, I’m serious) but small things like going on a rollercoaster for the first time, maybe trying skydiving (which, I have yet to try) or zip lining?

I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to stuff like that, I don’t know if I’ll ever go bungee jumping or parasailing but I do like discovering new adventures, going new places and trying new things.

I remember the first time I actually went on a rollercoaster, I was terrified, but It was on my list of things I’ve always wanted to do and when I did it, IT WAS THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD. Don’t get me wrong It takes me about 10-20mins to talk myself into getting on one even now.

I think we owe it to ourselves to experience things we’ve never experienced before (nothing illegal) for instance; I always wanted to go horseback riding, swimming with the dolphins, playing miniature golf, seeing Kyoto for the first time or even touching a lion (which I don’t think I will ever do).

But these things are my life goals, and the list just keeps growing.

I think it important we all have a vision board. “A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.”

A vision board can help you to discover yourself, plan that trip to Dubai you’ve always wanted to take, it motivates and inspires you.

We all have different life goals, yours may be to focus on your career and finances, relationships, personal growth, being healthy, your home or traveling. At the end of day, I think it’s important we all have goals we want to achieve in life

Creating a vision board is fun and simple, all you need are:

  • Poster board, cork board or small canvas
  • Stack of magazines (old or new)
  • Scissors
  • Markers or paint
  • Glue, tape, thumbtacks or pins
  •  Photo of yourself (optional)

Whether you’re creating one by yourself or with a group of people, you’ll be glad you made one.

Visualize it! Plan it! Execute it!

Update, February 2021: Due to a server crash, I lost 80% of my blog content. At first I was extremely sad because all my comments, views and status was lost. But, I try to find the silver lining and accept that everything happens for a reason. I wrote a 31 days of self love post in 2017. Some content were able to be saved others wasn't. I chose to share what remained because it helped so many people opened up.
