Some may not like this but trust me. It’s good. Here’s day 8 green smoothie

Is that an avocado? Yes it is. I’ve tried so many different avocado combinations and not all of them made it. But this one is very good.

We had a lot of avocado trees in my yard in Jamaica. But we don’t call it avocado and ours are a bit bigger.

Needless to say, I love me some avocado


Incorporating it into a green smoothie was challenging because I want it to taste good especially to people who don’t like avocado. So I hope you’ll give it a try.

My Berry Antioxidant Green Smoothie.

2 cups spinach
2 cups water
1/2 avocado (please remove the seed and skin)
2 cups blueberries
1 cup strawberries
2 tbsp ground flaxseed, optional

Blend water, spinach and flaxseed together. Next, add avocado and blend again. Add fruits and blend once more.

Fun Facts: Avocado contains more potassium than banana. They do not contain any cholesterol or sodium and are very low in saturated fat. And they loaded with fiber!
