We’re in the second quarter and if I’m being honest, the first quarter kicked my ass. I’m glad I was able to take a break and recharge. The first quarter was all about recovering from the end of the 4th quarter and the whole year in general.

As an entrepreneur and business owner, it’s important to reflect back on the first quarter, especially if there are goals you’ve set for yourself. Did you mean your goals?

One thing I’ve learned throughout my journey as an entrepreneur is that it’s ok when something doesn’t work out. Something we set goals for ourselves and don’t meet them in the timeframe we set for ourselves but that’s ok. Take a step back and re-evaluate your goals and maybe modify them.

Take time to reflect on areas you excelled in and areas that need improvement. I write everything down. That’s why I created my travel size journals

As we enter the second quarter, take some time this month and think about the balance you want to have for yourself, your business and your family/friends. Remember to slow down and smell the roses once in a while.
