“Defeat is a recognition of your current strength, but, It is not proof of weakness.”

Working from home can be challenging at times but, being a full-time self-employed entrepreneur has been a blessing.

Being a self-employed entrepreneur has its benefits but it is not for the weak. Since my last blog post a lot has happened. I recently shared on my social media I had a miscarriage which reminded me once again the importance of rest.

I’ve learned to give myself permission to slow down, embrace my reality and embrace the changes I’m going through. I’m going to feel more than what I want to feel and that’s ok.

Working from home I run my non-profit organization, I’m a personal chef, I’m a business consultant and also a childcare provider. My body and my mind needed rest so I took winter off to myself. It was the best decision I made because it gave me so much clarity and opened up new paths to the start of new journeys and adventures.

What’s new since 2022 started:

  • Yes, I shaved my hair and I’m currently blonde!
  • We celebrated our 1 year anniversary
  • Phoenix is TWO YEARS OLD (they really do grow so fast)
  • I’M WRITING A BOOK!!

April is a pretty big deal for Kris and I because it’s our birth month. For those of you who didn’t know Kris and I, birthdays are 9 days a part.

It goes a little like this… My birthday is april 3rd, our anniversary is April 6th and Kris’s birthday is April 12th.

So yeah, pretty big deal.  But till next time so much to share.
